<p>IIT Bombay had conducted the campus round of the Hult Prize competition on the 25th of December in collaboration with NTPC Limited and E-Cell, IIT Bombay. The 2020 Hult Prize Challenge ‘Bold Business idea for a Better Planet’ aims at enforcing game-changing startup ideas which can create an environment of sustained profitable enterprises with the view to change the fundamentals of the economy. </p><p>The Hult Prize is the world's biggest social entrepreneurship competition, which annually receives over 200,000+ applicants from more than 1500 colleges and universities from 121+ countries. Offered in partnership with Bill Clinton Foundation and the United Nations, the global winner gets $1 million prize for launching the startup. It challenges college students to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as environment, food security, water access, energy, and education. The Hult Prize has 3 stages: On-Campus, Regionals & World Finals. </p><p><span style="font-size: 13.008px;">The On-campus round was conducted for the first time in IIT Bombay on 25th November 2019. A total of 20 teams pitched their idea. Team Thundering Titans comprising of Shrut Sanghvi, Shubhankar Seth, Sahil Shah & Samish Baheti emerged as the winner of the competition. They advance straight to one of the 30+ Regional Summits happening worldwide, a step closer to winning the $1 million prize.</span></p>
