<p>IIT Bombay faculty team visited Leibniz University Hannover on March 6, 2019 and Technical University Braunschweig during March 7 and 8, 2019 for a joint research workshop. The workshop was aimed to facilitate research cooperation and explore joint research projects. During the two day workshop at Technical University Braunschweig, Co-supervised doctoral student agreement was signed between the two institutions and both sides agreed to waive tuition fees and accommodation charges for the doctoral student during their mobility period at the host institution.&nbsp;</p><p>Faculty members from Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemistry, School of Industrial Design and Entrepreneurship Centre travelled from IIT Bombay and met with their counterparts in both the institutions to further explore their research facilities and detailed discussion on Doctoral and Masters students mobility and identifying research topics.&nbsp;</p><p>Technical University Braunschweig (TUBS) organised a special tour to the Volkswagen manufacturing unit in Wolfsburg which is the largest manufacturing plant in the world and later to the automobile research lab of TUBS.</p>
