IITB stands 2nd in ARIIA and excels in NIRF Ranking

<p align="left">IIT Bombay has secured second position in the Atal Rankings of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA 2019) rankings. The Institute stands third in Engineering, fourth in Overall and tenth in Management category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2019) rankings. The results of ARIIA and NIRF rankings were announced by the Hon’ble president of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind during a press conference in Delhi on April 8, 2019.</p><p align="left">Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) was initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India on August 30, 2018, to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties.</p><p align="left">The parameters used for consideration for ATIIA rankings include Budget, Facilities, Awareness, Entrepreneurship, Commercialization, Learning methods and Governance.</p><p align="left">The Institute obtained a score of 78.62, 84.40 and 62.74 in the Overall, Engineering and Management category respectively of the NIRF 2019. The parameters used for NIRF rankings include Teaching, Learning &amp; Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, and Perception.</p><p align="left">The NIRF rankings was initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2015.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
