<p><span lang="EN">On January 13, 2021, the senior leadership of IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis flagged-off their 6th executive MBA batch. The launch function was inaugurated by Mr. Gopal Shukla, the CEO of the IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis joint venture. Professor Shubhasis Chaudhuri, Director IIT Bombay welcomed the cohort 6. Mr. Mayank Pareek, a seasoned industry leader and the President of TATA Motors was the special guest of honour. The other senior dignitaries present were Professor Prasanna Majumdar, Deputy Director Finance and External Affair, IIT Bombay , Professor S.Narayan Rao, HoD Shailesh J. Mehta School Of Management and Professor Daniel Elfenbein, Professor of Strategy, Olin Business School.</span></p><p><span lang="EN">The 18-month EMBA joint degree program from </span><span lang="EN">IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis, over its past 5 batches, has successfully created a sustained leadership pipeline for the corporate world. While doing that it has enabled middle level managers to grow and evolve into their natural next roles and assisted senior executives to consolidate. With a strength of 33, the 6th batch too sees a splendid representation from diverse levels, industries and domains. These include IT, academics, pharmaceutical, finance, consulting and others.</span></p><p><span lang="EN">The strength of the program is in its belief that the continuous evolution and transformation of executive education is the most important catalyst enabling strategic transitions in the 21st century.
