<p align="left">On the occasion of Hindi Pakhwara 2019, a comprehensive book discussion (Pustak Charcha) on three Hindi ghazal books written by three famous Hindi poets was organized on September 25, 2019 under the aegis of Hindi Cell, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.</p><p align="left">BOOKS:</p><ol><li><p align="left">Saaye Mein Dhoop by Dushyant Kumar</p></li><li><p align="left">Samay Se Muthbhed by Adam Gondavi</p></li><li><p align="left">Doobte Waqt by Dikshit Dankauri</p></li></ol><p align="left">Prof. Karunashankar Upadhyay, Head of Hindi Department, University of Mumbai was the chief guest. Prof. Saurabh Lodha from IIT Bombay and the chief guest Prof. Upadhyay lit the lamp and inaugurated this book discussion session.</p><p align="left">IIT Bombay students, faculty, officers and staff participated in the book discussion. Dr. Vinodkumar Prasad briefed on the Hindi ghazal genre and apprised the audience about the contribution of Dushyant Kumar, Adam Gondvi and Dixit Dankouri. Vikram, Abhishek, Ms.Garima Aggarwal and Dr. Kadam Mashruwala introduced the books and recited some portions from the books before the audience.</p><p align="left">Pragyan, Aman, Avinash recited portions of Saaye Mein Dhoop, Ankesh, Dipanshu, Vasu and Jay recited portions of Samay Se Muthbhed while Rajiv and Rony recited portions of Doobte Waqt.</p><p align="left">Dr. Vinodkumar Prasad, IRCC, Prof. Saurabh Lodha, Department of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Ranjitkumar Das, Central Library, students Abhishek, Vikram, Ankesh from IIT Bombay along with Dr. Karunashankar Upadhyay and Prof. Vanita Sahay, Bombay University participated in a panel discussion.</p><p align="left">The audience took keen interest in this book discussion programme. Such events help to increase awareness and interest in Hindi language and literature among the people. Hindi Officer Ms. Vaishali Bahulkar thanked all the attendees for participating in this important program wholeheartedly.&nbsp;</p>
