<p>IIT Bombay has been ranked 1st in India and has moved significantly up from 53th rank last year to 44th rank this year in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2020.</p><p>Overall, the Institution improved on its 2019 performance by 9 places. The results were released on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 by QS, a British company. The overall score is 81.9 out of 100. The Institute has a score of 84.7 in academic reputation, 82.3 in employer reputation, 75.4 in H-index Citations, 80.4 in citation per paper, all scores out of a maximum of 100 points.</p><p>“Our students and faculty members are our key strength. It is their dedication and the hard work that has got us where we are today. I am sure they will take us much further in the near future, ” said Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director, IIT Bombay.</p><p> </p>
