<p>The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay hosted the Hon'ble Union Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, Government of India, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, during Alankar - the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management's Global Leadership Summit held at VMCC, IIT Bombay on Saturday, October 29, 2022. He shared his experiences and expertise with the students and faculty and urged them to address societal issues in their research projects. Mr. Sunjay J. Kapur, President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Chairman of Sona Comstar Ltd., also attended the event.</p><p>Mr. Gadkari also paid a visit to the R&amp;D stalls and interacted with the faculty and students of IIT Bombay. The stalls exhibited projects on Indigenous and Reliable Motors &amp; Power Electronics; Manufacturing, Ergonomics and Stability; Battery Technology: Safety &amp; Sustainability; Transportation Planning and Grid Integration; Green Hydrogen and Devices &amp; Electronics.</p>
