Ironmaking - the iron blast furnace - principles, operation and design aspects, raw materials, direct reduction and smelt-reduction processes. Steel making - basic oxygen and electric arc furnace processes - principles, operation and design aspects. Deoxidation,? ladle refining processes – VD,? VOD and AOD processes - inclusions in steel.
