I had the problem of overthinking. Given any situation, I would overthink about all the possible consequences and with the fear of negative consequences, I would not make decisions quickly. Also, I had a problem of getting worried about every little thing in life. When I opened up my problems to Anisha Mathews Ma'am in a counselling session, she suggested that I practice 'Disputing worry' method. She very nicely explained to me the different possible solutions to overcome the problem of overthinking. I practiced those and I could observe changes in me after only one session. I continued the counselling for a few more sessions. I would like to say that opening up really helps. The counselling helps one to get rid of negative thoughts and worries.
